Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a ball valve from floating at the early valve opening time and also prevent noise in a check valve which is disposed in the separating point of a liquid passage and has the ball valve pushed down by the liquid pressure in said liquid passage to open the separate passage thereof. CONSTITUTION:A check valve 11 is mounted in a cylinder head 14 formed below the bottom dead center point of a piston and cooling oil is sprayed against the back face of the piston from a nozzle 15 supported by said valve 11. Said valve 11 consists of a valve seat 23 formed inside a valve casing 22, a ball valve 24 seated on said seat 23, and a coiled spring 25 pressing the back of said ball valve 24. The coiled spring 25 is held by a spring holder 27 with a displacement of S from the center point of the valve seat 23. When the check valve 24 is going to open, the ball valve 24 moves along the peripheral wall at one side under pressure to open, thereby preventing the ball valve 24 from floating.
