Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chest pocket mounting type cellular phone drop prevention device capable of allowing a cellular phone to be easily put in or taken out of a chest pocket while preventing the same from popping out or falling from the pocket.
SOLUTION: The cellular phone drop prevention device is mainly constituted of a drop prevention overlay, a stabilizer plate having a strap mounting hole and fixtures provided at left and right or a plurality of positions in the upper portion of the stabilizer plate surface. The drop prevention device has the dimensions of thickness, width and length to be easily attached to or removed from the chest pocket, and comprises a drop prevention overlay freely turnable around a shaft provided at the upper edge of the stabilizer plate by a prescribed angle from the internally horizontal direction toward the downward direction in the pocket. The drop prevention overlay also includes a stopper for controlling its turning angle and a turning means such as a torsion coil spring or the like pivotally provided on the shaft to always keep the overlay in the horizontal direction. The stabilizer plate is held by fixedly clamping the upper end portion of the pockets with the fixtures and the stabilizer plate. The strap of the cellular phone is attached to the strap mounting hole to prevent the cellular phone inside the pocket from falling.
