Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove chips sticking to a tapered part of a tool without arranging a new means in a machine tool.
SOLUTION: The chips sticking to the tapered part of the tool are removed or sticking is prevented without arranging the new means by vibrating the tool by using a driving motor always possessed by a tool replacing device of the machine tool. The machine tool having a tool exchange mechanism prevents the sticking of the chips to the tapered part of the tool, and removes the chips sticking to the tapered part of the tool by vibrating a tool magazine by vibrating and driving the tool magazine driving motor for performing magazine indexing operation, and driving a tool exchange arm by vibrating and driving the tool exchange arm driving motor.
