Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the changing and adjusting works easy and efficient by arranging chocks in the vicinities of both end parts even when the width of a work roll is narrower, increasing the rigidity of the work roll and changing a pair of the work rolls as an integrated unit with the main-body block.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of upper and lower work rolls 26 are housed in a work roll housing part 28 which is formed on the main-body block 21 held with the posts 12 of a multi roll mill and work roll chocks 27 are held in a work roll chock housing parts 29.
