Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a choke coil which can be used for both a normal mode and common mode and is improved in normal-mode noise inhibiting characteristic without lowering the common-mode noise inhibiting characteristic.
CONSTITUTION: A choke coil 10 is provided with first and second windings 13 and 14 wound around the winding section 12a of a drum type core 12. The coupling coefficient K between the windings 13 and 14 is changed between 0.90 and 0.97 in accordance with a required normal-mode noise inhibiting characteristic and common-mode noise inhibiting characteristic.
