Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chopper circuit, a method of controlling the chopper circuit, a chopper-type changing circuit, an electronic device and a timer capable of improving charging efficiency without increasing consumed power, even when power generation capacity of a power generator changes.
SOLUTION: A control circuit 20, that controls N-channel FETs N1, N2 decides that charging has been completed by detecting that P-channel FETs P1, P2 are turned off for a prescribed period of time, based on a comparison result by comparators COM1, COM2. When the completion of the charging is decided, the circuit 20 turns on the N-channel FETs N1, N2 for only a preset period of time.
