Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck capable of avoiding the inclination of a lid during capping.SOLUTION: A chuck applied to a container lid attaching device covers a synthetic resinous container lid in which first areas and second areas alternately exist on an outer peripheral surface of a skirt wall, and which is formed with a large number of projecting strips 42 at angle intervals of α degrees in the first areas and formed with a large number of projecting strips at angle intervals of 2α degrees in the second areas, on a neck portion of a container and rotates the synthetic resinous container lid in a closing direction. So as to certainly position a locking projecting strip 68 of an annular member oppositely to a circumferential center of one of the projecting strips 42 formed on the skirt wall, a center axis of a circle regulating each radial direction inner end of the hole arranged on the annular member is displaced in a circumferential direction to a circumferential center of the locking projecting strip 68 by α/4 degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
