To provide a chuck for an insert work which can remove the misregistration of the insert work in the middle of movement to smoothly and surely perform the operation of mounting the insert work in a mold compared with the conventional air cylinder type chuck and can improve movement responsiveness by miniaturization and lightening, and an ejector for an insert molded article.

The chuck for an insert work is provided with a base plate and is constituted of at least one holding member having a space into which the insert work can be inserted, a movement regulation member for enabling the insertion of the insert work into the space of the holding member, a detection member for detecting holding of the insert work in the space of the holding member, and an ejection member for ejecting the held insert work from the space against the movement regulation member.
