Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chucking device which can accurately detect an edge of an article.SOLUTION: A chucking device 100 approaches a storage container 50, and stops the approaching operation by means of an optical sensor 30 that detects an edge 50a of the storage container 50 to grasp the storage container 50. The body part 10 is provided with a shield plate 40 that prevents sensor light L from going around an optical axis AX to be detected by the optical sensor 30.
