In a circuit breaker for wiring, in which the current interruption part is constituted by combining an insulating case 6, fixed contactors 7A, 7B of the power-supply side and the loaded side arranged and diagonally arranged inside the case, a rotating movable contactor 8 of a bridge type, a contactor body 9, and arc-extinguishing devices 10, a height H is reduced by using the linear contactor conductors as the fixed contactors of the power-supply side and the loaded side, a Z-shaped electrifying path is formed between the fixed contactors of the power-supply side, as well as the loaded side and the movable contactor, by arranging respective fixed contactors to mutually face in vertically parallel, and the movable contactor is made to be open-electrode driven by an electromagnetic repulse force, when the overcurrent flows.
