To make sure that an alarm switch is actuated in all the regions of a working current of an instantaneous tripping in a protecting switch, in which the alarm switch is actuated in the instantaneous tripping and in which the alarm switch is not actuated in case of the tripping by a release control device, such as a voltage release device or the like.
A trip member 29 for conveying a suction action of a plunger of the instantaneous release mechanism and an actuation of an actuation member 33a of the release control device 33 to a locking member (a latching receiver) 26 of a switching mechanism is divided into two of upper and lower parts 29A, 29B, the actuation of the instantaneous release mechanism is conveyed to the latching receiver 26 at the upper tripping member 29A, and the alarm switch 34 is made to be actuated. Because the actuation of the release control device 33 is conveyed to the latching receiver 26 at the lower tripping member 29B, the alarm switch 34 becomes unrelated and will not be actuated.
