PURPOSE: To obtain the subject loom capable of weaving a three axis or four axis woven fabric by arranging heald frames in circular form and doubly dispos ing slant yarns clockwise and counterclockwise on the outer circumference of the heald frames in such a manner as to cross the yarns with each other on the weaving face.
CONSTITUTION: Bias slant yarns 16a and 16b directing right-hand and left-hand are rotated with individual beams 2, 3 and bobbin frames rotating clockwise and counterclockwise to effect the continuous rotation of the slant yarns while keeping the moving direction of the yarn. Slant yarns mutually crossing in the woven fabric are formed by the process. The opening for weft insertion is carried out with a divided heald frame by passing either of the warp 12 or the slant yarn through a needle-like heald 8.
