Abstract:
To improve workability of a wiring work.SOLUTION: A circular saw comprising a rotary cutter, a brushless motor for driving the rotary cutter, and a circuit board for controlling drive of the motor. The rotary cutter has a rotation axis along a longitudinal direction orthogonal to a cutting direction, and the motor has a rotation axis along the longitudinal direction. The motor has a first end part which is an end part in a first direction of the longitudinal direction, and a second end part which is an end part in a second direction of the longitudinal direction. The motor is positioned in the first direction of the longitudinal direction with respect to the rotary cutter. A thickness of the circuit board is along the longitudinal direction, and the circuit board is positioned near the first end part of the motor and on a rear side in the cutting direction with respect to the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
