Abstract:
To improve a function of a housing.SOLUTION: A circular saw includes: a rotary blade; a housing having a saw cover part covering an outer periphery part of the rotary blade; and a dust box for accumulating chips. The saw cover part has: a passage through which the chips pass; and a discharge port for discharging the chips from the passage. The dust box is detachably connected to the discharge port. The housing includes a lid for covering the discharge port. The lid is attached to the saw cover part so as to be movable between a first position where the lid closes the discharge port and a second position where the lid opens the discharge port. In the second position, the lid contacts with the dust box connected to the discharge port to assist connection between the discharge port and the dust box.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
