Abstract:
To provide a circulating block type ball screw capable of preventing a circulating block from being damaged even if the ball screw is operated at a high speed and also rolling elements from being caught in the circulating block.
In this circulating block type ball screw 10, the circulating block 30 is installed on the inner peripheral surface of a ball nut 12, and a difference in lead angle between access passages 36a and 36b forming a bypass passage 32 in the circulating block 30 and an intermediate passage 38 is formed within 40°. A difference in lead angle between a rolling element races 22 and the access passages 36a and 36b is set within 40° across the access passages 34a and 34b of the bypass passage 32.
