Title:
CONTROLLER FOR AIR-CONDITIONING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3161090
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To restrain the frosting of a heat exchanger and retain the quality of an air-conditioning machine in good condition by a method wherein a sensor, detecting a pipeline temperature upon defrosting operation, is arranged in an outdoor machine while the maximum frequency of a heating operation frequency is limited when the sensor is short-circuited upon heating operation.
CONSTITUTION: The outdoor machine 1 of an air-conditioning machine is provided with a power supply driver 6, arranged on a ceiling surface, a heat exchanger 2, arranged in the back surface of the outdoor machine 1, and a fan 4, arranged at the center of the same machine 1. The heat exchanger 2 functions as an evaporator upon heating operation. In this case, a pipeline sensor 5, detecting the temperature of a pipeline, is arranged in the inlet port pipeline of the evaporator 2. The temperature of the pipeline is detected by the pipeline sensor 5 upon defrosting operation while the maximum frequency of heating operation frequency is limited when the pipeline sensor 5 is short- circuited upon heating operation. On the other hand, the evaporator 2 is provided with an outdoor temperature sensor 7 to carry out said limit only when the outdoor temperature is low. Further, when said limiting condition is continued for more than a given period of time, heating operation is stopped.
