PURPOSE: To positively remove and clean off low conductivity substance adhered to the surface of a sliding current collector board without sacrifice of straight advance performance by providing a cup-like brush at an end of each supporting rotary shaft through a buffer spring.
CONSTITUTION: After an elevator cylinder 12 raises a cup-like brush 3 to be in pressed contact with a sliding current collector board 1, and a stopper cylinder 14 is lowered, cleaning operation is started. The contacting level and contacting pressure are adjusted to be uniform by a buffer spring 9. A motor roller built into a motor is employed as a driving wheel 10 and mounted below a pallet 2. When the motor roller is raised along with the cup-like brush 3 by a lift (c), since a friction wheel 10' is brought into contact with the lower face of the pallet 2 and pressed by a pressing wheel 11 from above, it helps to positively transfer the pallet 2 when the cup-like brush 3 performs cleaning. Moreover, a dust collecting hood 8 is provided in the upper part of a dust collecting cylinder 5. Therefore, the material removed by the cup-like brush is gathered in a dust collector 6 through a dust collecting header 19.
