PURPOSE: To permit easy cleaning of the surface of be cleaned of cars, ships, and structures, by constituting so that the recirculation movement of the chain arranged in the vicinity of two sides of the surface to be cleaned on window glass etc. is converted to the oscillation movement of a cleaner for the surface to be cleaned.

CONSTITUTION: After cleaning water is sprayed onto a window glass 1, a motor 10 is driven, and a chain 6 is shifted leftward, then a chain 7 is turned leftward at a same speed. Then, each supporting plate 12 is shifted in the direction of the frame 17 at the center of the window glass by the chain lever 14 connected with the chain 7. Accordingly, two cleaners 1 shift in the direction of the center frame 17, cleaning the window surface, and when the chain lever 14 reaches a sprocket 5 through the shift of the chain 7, the chain lever 14 is reversed and pulls the supporting plate 12 in the longitudinal direction at the right and left side of the window glass. When the cleaner 11 returns to the starting position, the chain lever 14 is turned reversely again, and repeats the operation described above, and the cleaner 11 is operated in reciprocation.
