Abstract:
To provide a cleaning method and the like capable of sufficiently cleaning an object to be cleaned even when the relative positional relationship between a cleaning member and the object to be cleaned changes.SOLUTION: A cleaning method in which cleaning is performed by a cleaning member B held by a robot arm 20 provided with a flexible drive mechanism includes: a target position setting process for setting movement target positions B3, B5 farther from a cleaning member W than an assumed contact position assumed that the cleaning member B comes into contact with an object W to be cleaned when the cleaning member B is moved toward the object W to be cleaned; and a copy cleaning process in which cleaning is performed with the cleaning member W made copied with respect to the object W to be cleaned while moving the cleaning member W toward the movement target positions B3, B5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
