Abstract:
To provide a printer suppressing the visual recognition of an unintended color at an edge of a print image due to impact position deviation of an ink drop.SOLUTION: A printer 1 is equipped with a head 13 that discharges ink drops, and a control portion 60 that controls the discharge of the head 13. The control portion 60 performs specified ink discharging control so that the number per unit area of dots configuring an end portion G1e of a first image G1 becomes smaller than the number per unit area of dots configuring a normal portion G1n of the first image G1 adjacent to the end portion G1e of the first image G1, in the specified ink discharging control in which of a plurality of inks for printing the end portion G1e of the first image G1, brightness when forming the end portion G1e of the first image G1 becomes lower brightness by a predetermined value or more with respect to the brightness of an end portion G2e of a second image G2, when printing a boundary area G12 composed of the end portion G1e of the first image G1 and the end portion G2e of the second image G2 that has higher brightness than that of the first image G1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
