PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method of a separation membrane device capable of reducing the occurrence of clogging in the separation membrane device after cleaning while using an existing wastewater treatment apparatus.SOLUTION: In a cleaning method of a wastewater treatment apparatus,: sludge in a separation membrane device is discharged; cleaning water is flown into the separation membrane device and discharged; a cleaning agent is flown into the separation membrane device and discharged; the cleaning water is flown into the separation membrane device and discharged; the cleaning water is flown into a cleaning agent tank and discharged through a drain channel via the separation membrane device; and then the cleaning water is flown into the separation membrane device and discharged from a drain channel.SELECTED DRAWING: None
