The cleaning robot control system includes: a first virtual wall 110 which has a first specific pattern 112 and generates first specific reflected light R1 when a light beam radiates the first specific pattern 112; a second virtual wall 130 which has a second specific pattern 132 and generates second specific reflected light R2 when the light beam radiates the second specific pattern 132; and a cleaning robot 150 which receives the first specific reflected light R1 and the second specific reflected light R2, obtains and records positions of the first virtual wall 110 and the second virtual wall 130 on the basis of the first specific reflected light R1 and the second specific reflected light R2, and defines a first virtual line VL on the basis of the recorded position. The advancing route of the cleaning robot 150 is limited by the first virtual line VL.
