Abstract:
To provide a clear coating composition which enables formation of a clear coated film excellent in scratch resistance and appearance, and is excellent in storage stability, a clear coated film, a coated article and a method for manufacturing a coated article.SOLUTION: A clear coating composition contains surface-modified colloidal silica (A), a hydroxyl group-containing resin (B) and a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (C), where an average primary particle diameter of silica particles constituting the surface-modified colloidal silica (A) is 5 nm or more and 30 nm or less, a surface modification amount of the silica particles is 100 μg/m2 or more and 2,000 μg/m2 or less, and a hydroxyl value of the hydroxyl group-containing resin (B) is 100 mgKOH/g or more and 250 mgKOH/g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
