Title:
CLEARANCE MEASURING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3418970
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clearance measuring device that detects comprehensively and automatically displays 3D spacing variations by smoothly tracking mutually opposed measuring surfaces even when they are curved surfaces.
SOLUTION: This device comprises a front base 12 equipped with a wheel 11 rolling along a lower measuring surface Fd, a sensor mounting portion 1 consisting of a standing/lying plate 14 equipped with a rotation terminal 13 being energized in a standing direction at a tip surface of the front base 12 and rolling along an upper measuring surface Fu, a stabilizer 2 equipped with a wheel 21 and a stabilizing wheel 23 having the same structure, a pair of sensors 31a, 31b mounted on an upper surface of the front base 12 and a surface of the standing/lying plate 14 in the sensor mounting portion 1 so as to face each other at an angle and vary the distance between the sensors 31a and 31b, and a controlling part 3 consisting of a controller 32 for inputting measured values of the sensors 31a, 31b, computing the tilting angle θ therebetween, and outputting the distance between the measuring surfaces Fd and Fu. And, the device has a structure equipped with a pushing means 4 for continuously moving forward/backward the clearance between the curved or flat surfaces.
