Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fold up a plurality of cloth pieces in the stacked condition without resorting to the human labor.
SOLUTION: This cloth piece stacking and folding device has a conveyor 11 on which cloth pieces are put to be conveyed and at least one stage of standby conveyor 12 is furnished over the outlet from the conveyor 11, and cloth pieces in movement on the conveyor 11 are guided by a guide member arranged as emerging to and retracted from the standby conveyor 12. A folding conveyor 15 is, installed under the outlet from the conveyor 11, and the cloth pieces W1 and W2 overlapped in dangling from the outgoing ends of the conveyor 11 and standby conveyor 12 are intruded toward the folding mouth bounded by the outgoing terminations of the conveyor 11 and folding conveyor 15.
