PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch capable of reducing the noise, and preventing a rolling element from not sufficiently held in rotating at a driven side.
SOLUTION: This clutch 6 has an outer ring 7a, a driving-side rotating body a driven-side rotating body 10 having a control face 29, and a rolling element 11 accommodated between an inner peripheral face 7d of the outer ring and the control face, and having a diameter B shorter than a clearance C between a central part 19a of the control face and the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring, and longer than a clearance E between side parts 19b and 19c of the control face and the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring. The rolling element is located on an approximately central part of the control face in rotating the driving-side rotating body for transmitting the torque to the driven- side rotating body, and the rolling element is pressed by the control face to be held between the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring and the control face in rotating the driven-side rotating body, to inhibit its rotation. The central part of the control face is located at the radial outside with respect to a straight line connecting both side parts, and an intermediate part between the central part and the side part is expanded into the arc-shape to the radial outside with respect to a straight line connecting the central part and the side part.
