Abstract:
To provide a coagulation filtration method which can provide filtrate water of low turbidity and is safe even when there is a large amount of pico plankton in raw water.SOLUTION: A coagulation filtration method includes an aggregation agent/aggregation aid addition process of adding an aggregation agent and an aggregation aid for reducing pico plankton contained in raw water to the raw water, a filtration process of filtering the raw water in order to obtain filtrate water from the raw water to which the aggregation agent and the aggregation aid are added, a fine particle measurement process of measuring pico plankton number in a fine particle in the raw water or the filtrate water and a control process of maintaining the turbidity of the filtrate water into a predetermined value or less by performing a control of adjusting the addition amount of the aggregation agent and aggregation aid when the measured pico plankton number in the raw water or filtrate water is a predetermined value within the range of 1×105 to 2×105 cells/mL or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
