Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly safe coating agent, with chitosan dispersed homogeneously therein, and excellent in coating ability.
CONSTITUTION: The objective coating agent can be obtained by dissolving in an organic solvent a chitosan-contg. synthetic resin prepared by salting-out of a synthetic resin emulsion with an acidic aqueous solution of chitosan. The other objective textile fabric can be obtained by coating a textile fabric with this coating agent followed by drying to afford the surface of the fabric with a coating layer.
