To provide a coating compsn. which possesses excellent abrasion resistance and can prevent abrasion of a molding roll, a shearing blade or the like during molding or cutting.
This coating compsn. comprises: a polyester resin as a main component;, and, added thereto, an inorg. aggregate of a silicon carbide powder in an amt. of 2 to 30wt.% based on the whole solid content of the coating compsn. (the same shall apply hereinafter), 1 to 40wt.% organic aggregate of an acrylic polymer bead comprising 50 to 75wt.% methyl methacrylate, not more than 20wt.% monomer copolymerizable with methyl methacrylate, and 25 to 50wt.% cross-linkable monomer, and 1 to 20wt.% ethylene tetrafluoride resin powder, wherein the total content of the inorg. aggregate and the org. aggregate is 10 to 50wt.% and the proportion of the inorg. aggregate in the whole aggregate is 10 to 70wt.%. A synergistic effect attained by the addition of the inorg. aggregate in combination with the org. aggregate can offer excellent abrasion resistance and can prevent abrasion of a molding roll and the like.
