Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device which can shorten a time required for forming a thin film on a cylindrical object.SOLUTION: A coating device 1 includes: a plurality of shaft-like members 3 and 5 which support a cylindrical object 13 along outer circumference surfaces 17; an annular nozzle 7 which supplies coating fluid to an entire circumference of the cylindrical object 13 supported by the shaft-like members 3 and 5; switching means 9 which faces the annular nozzle 7 to the respective outer circumference surfaces 17 of the shaft-like members 3, and 5 sequentially; and moving means 11 which moves the annular nozzle 7 in axial directions of the shaft-like members 3 and 5. The annular nozzle 7 includes: a slit which is opened to the entire circumference of the cylindrical object 13; a plurality of flow passages which are arrayed at equal intervals in a circumferential direction of the cylindrical object 13 and guide the coating fluid to the slit; and a ventilation hole which escapes air from the slit in a position which divides the adjacent two flow passages into two circumferentially.
