Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device where a coating liquid can be coated with a uniform thickness in a width direction.SOLUTION: A plurality of blades 31a, 31b, 32a and 32b set in a dam 20 are inclined so as to be close to the center of a coating roll 12 in an axial direction as going to a clearance X side. Thus, the pressure of an electrode material is enhanced at the center in the axial direction in front of a clearance X and, on the other hand, the pressure of the electrode material at an end part in the axial direction is comparatively low. The electrode material prevents a coating thickness from becoming thick at the end part in the axial direction. The electrode material is coated with a uniform thickness in the axial direction, namely, in a width direction of a metal foil.
