To continuously and stably obtain a coating film of a high quality on a blanket by forming a decompression state in the upstream coating side of a die head feeding ink to the circulatively moved blanket of a blanket cylinder in a reversing offset printing method.
The blanket 3 is circulatively moved in the circumferential direction of the blanket cylinder 2 when the ink is applied. Part of the blanket 3 in the upstream coating side in the rotation direction of the blanket cylinder 2 from the coating part coated with the ink by the die head 4 is covered with a decompression chamber 5 connected with the die head 4. The pressure within the space inside the decompression chamber 5 is reduced to fill the space between the blanket 3 and a die lip in the upstream coating side of the die head tip in the coating section.
