Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film whose surface smoothness is not compromised even after undergoing a high-temperature heat treatment work.SOLUTION: The provided coating film is a polyester film having a laminate structure consisting of at least three layers wherein particles are included within the surface layer of either side thereof, wherein the plane of the surface layer possesses a coating layer formed from a coating liquid including a quaternary ammonium base-containing polymer and a polyvalent aldehyde compound, wherein the center line average roughness of the coating layer surface after heating at 180°C for 3 hours is 0.005 μm or less, wherein a distribution curve expressing the relation of the protrusion height and protrusion number (Y) on the coating layer surface satisfies the following formula (1) within a protrusion height range of 0.01-0.07 μm, and wherein the number of protrusions having heights of at least 0.08 μm on the coating layer surface is 200 protrusions/mmor less: -(logY2-logY1)/0.25≥5 (1) (in the formula, Y1 and Y2 express numbers, on the film surface, of protrusions having heights of 0.05 μm and 0.30 μm, respectively, on the film surface (protrusions/mm)).
