There are provided a coating material containing used tea leaves, a binder and an antioxidant, and a coated article and a fun coated by the coating material. Used tea leaves are preferably paste forms which solid part is dispersed in a copper ion solution. In this case, it is preferable the binder is poly lactic acid and the antioxidant is vitamin C. Alternatively the binder is chitosan and the chitosan may have a function as the antioxidant. A coating material also contains a waterproof material preferably.
