Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating member for carbide cermet thermal spraying film which exhibits excellent corrosion resistance even in an aqueous solution environment, and to provide a thermal spray coating therefore.
SOLUTION: The coating member for carbide cermet thermal spraying film having excellent corrosion resistance is obtained by forming a carbide based cermet composite thermal spray coating obtained by dispersing free metallic Al or a free Al alloy of 0.5 to 20 wt.% into a matrix of carbide cermet consisting of 95 to 50 wt.% metallic carbide and 5 to 50 wt.% of one or more binder metals selected from Ni, Cr, Co, and Mo on the surface of a metallic base material.
