Abstract:
To provide a coating method of an aluminum alloy wheel capable of obtaining a coating film excellent not only in water adhesiveness resistance but also in cutting properties even in a 4C/3B coating, and to provide the aluminum alloy wheel coated by the coating method.
The aluminum alloy wheel is subjected to chemical conversion treatment using a zirconium- and/or titanium-based chemical conversion treatment solution in which the values of the concentration of free fluorine ions, the concentration of aluminum ions, pH, etc. are adjusted in a specific range.
