To lessen the permeating amount of an ink or a coating liquid, espe cially an alcohol type solvent, through an axis main body and lessen the degree of change with the lapse of time by making the axis main body up of a molded body produced from polypropylene by a biaxial orientation blow molding method.
The axis main body 11 of this coating tool 10 comprises a container unitedly formed by a biaxial orientation stretch blow molding method using polypropylene as a base material. In the axis main body of the coating tool 10 produced in this way, molecules are oriented by the biaxial orientation method, so that a container having high strength in the oriented direction and a slight residual elongation can be obtained. Consequently, high chemical resistance and gas barrier property are provided and the permeation of an organic vapor, especially the permeation of an alcohol type solvent is lowered, so that the permeating amount (the evaporating amount) of the content liquid can be lessened and at the same time the degree of change with the lapse of time can be lowered and moreover the long-time-storage property of an ink or a coating liquid can be improved.
