Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a coaxial connector, which can control character impedance by single unit thereof and which can secure frequency characteristic.
SOLUTION: This connector forms a cylindrical metal shell 2, which has a fitting part 3 to be fitted to a counter connector, an insertion part 4 to be inserted into an insertion hole of an equipment body of a communication equipment, and a thick part 5 to be pressed into a fitting hole 15 of a fitting plate 14, provided between the fitting part 3 and the insertion part 4. In this case, a receiver hole 9, which receives a contact of a counter connector, and a center contact 8, which has a connecting part 11 to be connected to a circuit provided in the equipment body of a communication equipment, are housed in the shell 2 in a constitution such that only the connecting part 11 is projected from the insertion part 4.
