PURPOSE: To reduce generation of noise by making the oscillation frequency of an inverter circuit a value by which no resonance occurs with the inherent oscillation frequency of a pan, and thereby preventing generation of 1/2 resonance being a source for generating noise in an audible range.
CONSTITUTION: An invertor circuit 16 is composed to supply a current to a coil 2 by making the oscillation frequency thereof different from a value two times the inherent oscillation frequency of a pan 1. Namely, noises in the audible range caused by 1/2 resonance and strong oscillation as the inherent oscillation of the pan 1 is in conformity with 1/2 oscillation frequency of the coil 2, which hardly occurs, due to the shapes or material qualities of the pan 1 is prevented form generating by making the oscillation frequency of the inverter circuit 16 for supplying a current to the coil 2 have no value two times the inherent oscillations of the pan 1, thereby preventing 1/2 resonance of the pan 1. With this arrangement, no harmful effect of noise caused by generation of 1/2 resonance is given to a user of a cocking unit, which enhances living atmosphere. It is thus possible to reduce generation of noise.
