Title:
COCKPIT DOOR FOR AIRCRAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3947511
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cockpit door provided between a cockpit and a passenger cabin of an aircraft.
SOLUTION: A cockpit door body 10 allows a crew to operate a knob of a first hinge device 40 in the direction of an arrow R1 from the cockpit 3 side to open the door to the cockpit side. When sudden reduced pressure is generated in the cockpit side, a mechanical pressure sensing device of the first hinge device 40 is operated to detach a bolt from a catch. The door body 10 is opened in the direction of the arrow R1 to decrease the air pressure due to air pressure difference between the passenger side and the cockpit side. When sudden decompression is generated in the passenger 4 side, a second latch device 60 is mechanically operated in response to a difference in air pressure, and a link lever 62 is turned to detach a stopper 64 from the catch 66. Flaps 30, 32 are opened to the cabin 4 side as indicated by an arrow R2 due to the air pressure difference between the cockpit and the cabin to decrease differential pressure.
