PURPOSE: To mill coffee beans small by small in quantity and to lower the milling sound by providing a bean receiving part for receiving the coffee beans dropping from a hopper on a milling body.
CONSTITUTION: Coffee beans A are put into a hopper 14. In such a case, a part of the coffee beans A contained in the hopper 14 comes out of a bean passing port part 15, and these coffee beans A are not received by a bottom part of a mill case 10 but received by a bean receiving part 16. Subsequently, when a motor 9 is actuated by operating a start switch for starting a mill operation, a milling body 11 rotates, and the bean receiving part 16 also rotates as one body therewith. In such a way, the coffee beans A on the bean receiving part 16 receive rotary centrifugal force and slide down to the periphery from on the bean receiving part 16, and milled by the milling body 11. In such a case, since the coffee beans A can be milled small by small in quantity from the beginning of a start of the mill operation, a milling sound can be lowered from the beginning of the start of the mill operation.
