Abstract:

To provide a method for operating a cogeneration system capable of making effective use of energy.

A method for operating a cogeneration system including a cogeneration device 1 for simultaneously generating heat and electricity, and a dehumidification device 20 for dehumidifying a target space 16 using the heat generated in the cogeneration device 1, includes: a determination step of determining whether a cooling operation is conducted in the target space 16; and a dehumidification step of putting the dehumidification device 20 into operation when it is determined in the determination step that a cooling operation is conducted in the target space 16.
