Abstract:
To provide a coil component which makes the deterioration of the reliability less likely to occur, in particular, even under high temperature conditions.
A coil component includes: a closed magnetic circuit magnetic core 9 provided by butting division magnetic cores 8, each of which has a middle leg 5, outer legs 6, and a connection leg 7 connecting the middle leg 5 with the outer legs 6; a coil part 10 wound around the middle legs 5 of the closed magnetic circuit magnetic core 9; and a resin outer sheath 11 sealing the closed magnetic circuit magnetic core 9 and the coil part 10. Each division magnetic core 8 is a dust magnetic core where a binder binding metal magnetic powder to each other is formed only by an inorganic material.
