Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize automation upto the operation for tying up the start-of- winding around a terminal by making a groove in a start-of-winding end raising claw at a position aligning with a wire storing groove while aligning an empty nozzle with the groove in the claw and then inserting the end of wire along the groove in the claw into the nozzle through a rotating means and rotating the nozzle around the terminal of a coil bobbin.
CONSTITUTION: A coil manufacturing machine comprises a bobbin 1 having a wire storing groove 4 for containing the start-of-winding, a wire end raising claw 6 coming into contact with the outer periphery of the bobbin 1, an empty nozzle 17 for containing the wire end, and a bobbin rotating means 11. A groove 20 is made in the wire end raising claw 16 at a position aligning with the wire storing groove 4 and the empty nozzle 17 is initially set at a position aligning with the groove 20 in the claw. A bobbin rotating means 11 inserts the wire end along the groove 20 in the claw 16 into the nozzle 17 and then rotates the nozzle 17 around a terminal of the bobbin 1. This constitution allows automation of the operation for tying up the start-of-winding.
