Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a false detection of a residual coin due to vibration irrelevant to the determination of the residual coin.SOLUTION: A coin identification and conveyance device includes: a coin input part; a coin input sensor for detecting input of a coin; a coin conveyance part for conveying the input coin; a container for containing the conveyed input coin; an impact detection part for detecting impact generated in the container; a coin delivery control part for delivering the contained coins one by one; a residual coin determination part for determining whether or not a coin remains in the container using an impact detection signal output from the impact detection part; and a driving member stop part for stopping the movement of a driving member provided except for the coin delivery control part and generating impact. The residual coin determination part determines whether or not a coin remains in the container after the state in which no input coin is detected continues for a predetermined time. When it is determined that a coin remains, the driving member stop part temporarily stops the movement of the driving member, and further the residual coin determination part determines whether or not a coin remains in the container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
