Abstract:
To provide a coin processing device which makes it difficult for recovered coins to remain in a coin recovery unit.SOLUTION: A coin processing device 10 comprises: an overflow stacker 150 in which coins are received; a coin cassette 160 in which the coins of the overflow stacker 150 are recovered; first and second conveyance units 190, 200 that convey the coins; and a control unit. The coin cassette 160 has a recess 165 in the inner side of which the coins enter, and a belt mechanism 161 for moving the coins closer to the recess 165. The control unit executes an OF stacker coin recovery process for conveying coins of a second type having no possibility of clogging the recess 165 to the coin cassette 160, and conveying the coins of the second type closer to the recess 165 by means of the belt mechanism 161 before coins of a first type having a possibility of clogging the recess 165 are conveyed to the coin cassette 160.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
