Title:
COLD AIR COOLING FOR GRINDING WORK AND COLD AIR COOLING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3484533
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient cooling effect in cold air cooling for grinding work.
SOLUTION: This cooling device is provided with a cold air nozzle 2 which is connected to a cold air supplying device A for supplying cold air cooled down to below a freezing point, and injects and supplies cold air toward a grinding position to be ground, a water nozzle 12 which supplies water in a spraying condition into the cold air nozzle or near the injection opening 2a of the cold air nozzle, and a humidifier for keeping the periphery of the grinding position in a highly humidified condition or a water droplet dripping device for dipping water droplets onto the grinding position. The moisture in a spraying or dripping condition, which is supplied to the grinding position, is frozen by the cold air cooled down to below the freezing point in the same way, thereby cooling the grinding position by its latent heat.
