To significantly reduce manhours for collation of the character information by using a 1st personal computer to successively output plural character data and also to convert these character data into the image data and then using a 2nd personal computer to collate the character data which are successively received with the image data by matching the phases secured between both data.
Plural character data which are produced by a transmitter personal computer 11 are successively sent to a receiver personal computer 14 via a network. At the same time, plural character codes which are outputted from the computer 11 are printed in images on a form as plural character information by a printer 12 of the computer 11. Then these character information are successively transferred as image data to a receiver facsimile equipment 15 from a transmitter facsimile equipment 13. A receiver character information collator 16 collates the character data received by the computer 14 with the image data received by the equipment 15 by matching the phases secured between both data.
