To provide a low-cost useful gas phase geological sample collector and tool for pulling out the collector whereby boring, pulling-out can be conducted efficiently manually (without using a hydraulic jack, etc.), by a simple rod with a considerably simple constitution even in a deep underground of a depth of approximately 10 m.
A slide adapter 2 is assembled via a coupling 3 to a leading sharp cone 4 to be freely movable. The slide adapter 2 has a large diameter part 2a formed in the same size as an outer diameter of a rod 1, a male spiral coupling part 2b to be fitted in a female spiral part 1b of the rod 1, and a socket part 2c to which the coupling 3 is loosely fitted. The socket part 3c has detection holes 2d, 2d and a female spiral part 2f formed respectively in a diametrical direction and at the side of a free end. After the coupling 3 is outfitted to the socket part 2c of the slide adapter 2, a male spiral coupling part 6b of a fixing member 6 is screwed from a leading end to the female spiral part 2f of the socket part 2c, whereby the detection holes 2d, 2d are slidably assembled to the slide adapter 2 to project, retreat to the interior of the coupling 3.
