Title:
COLOR CONVERSION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3770671
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate an output RGB signal from a digital camera and a scanner under the resolution condition of the scanner. SOLUTION: An output RGB signal 12 from a digital camera is converted into a colorimetric signal 18 by a matrix 20 and the colorimetric signal 18 is converted into a color element density signal (cmy) 28 on a reversal original by a color element density conversion section 30. Furthermore, the output RGB signal of a scanner is converted into colorimetric signal 22 by a table 24 and the colorimetric signal 22 is converted into a color element density signal (cmy) 34 by a color element density conversion section 36. The color element density signal 28 or 34 is separated by using a standard condition reproduction table 44 for scanner and converted into a cmyk signal 48 that is a net percentage signal.
